 All series are cool except from the 3rd installation , the reboot attempt made by the injun guy quite promising , the script is nice too.

I intend to compile the 1984 and 1991 and "rogue" 2009 Edition , the 201x never provided the thrill or had a good script apart from many eye catching including bringing back the 2 actors who seemingly looked awfully old which again is unfair to both of them and the franchise. Mr. Cameron said once i read that he warned about the incoming AI but in more quality and authenticity he is indeed a helluva story teller yet the original concept comes from Fail Safe , The Forbin Project and Wargames 1983.
